Central Island Powerline Ltd. Working with powerlines, particularly high voltage lines requires pre-planning, written work procedures, comprehension, and the application of safety regulations and approved practices, co-operation with regulatory personnel, use of approved and appropriate equipment, and well-trained qualified power line technicians. As recipients of the Line Contractors Association of BC Safety Award for 7 consecutive years, Central Power has demonstrated its committment to a safe and healthy work environment for 18 Years!
Our Safety Officer, Pat McGuire plays a crucial role in developing our safety and training programs and administering our Apprenticeship program.
